We made a bold stab at the 2000 Guineas but it was a case of close but no cigar. We had the 33/1 second and 14/1 third and the top-rated Eagle Mountain ran well enough in fifth but the winner Cockney Rebel eluded us.
The Premium Service did better with a profit on the day of 11.7 points thanks to Wannabe Posh.
We are back at Newmarket today for the opener and four horses towards the top of the handicap appeal in the 1.55. The joint top-rated horses are PINPOINT and ROCAMADOUR who are trading at vastly differing prices 5.3 and 38 on Betdaq.
DANSILI DANCER and ROYAL OATH are also bets for us today.
