Pontefract stage their first meeting of the new season and we are taking a look at the 2.50 race where there are now 16 runners as Fast Heart is a non runner.

The jointly top-rated horses are DORN DANCER and DIVINE SPIRIT who are currently trading at respective odds on Betdaq of 10 and 14.5. Dorn Dancer is definitely a horse that goes well fresh and she seems fairly solid in morning exchanges while Divine Spirit has the assistance of Jamie Spencer.

The top-weighted DIGITAL also gets a good rating and these three form the main part of today's bet.

GOING SKINT, CONJECTURE and PADDYWACK are all trading at huge odds but are included as 'above the line' runners.

Monday 9 April

A competitive 17 runner handicap at Warwick today - but just three runners catch the eye.

The top-rated is Scutch Mill who is chasing the hat-trick and currently trading at around 10 on Betdaq. He is fit from a successful spell on the all-weather with a couple of wins at Kempton and Wolverhampton and was also a fair third over the jumps at Musselburgh in January. He still seems to be on a reasonably attractive handicap mark and should play a major role.

Western Roots is trading at 17.5 and he has been seen mainly at Wolverhampton showing some good form including winning a class 6 handicap in November. He looks to be on a particularly lenient handicap mark here.

We also like Danzare at odds of around 23. She is another with recent winning all-weather form.

A closely knit handicap for today's featured HorseGraph - the 2.50 at Musselburgh.

Despite the overall graph - Regents Secret has clear water between his rivals on the graph and is an interesting proposition at around 10.5 on Betdaq. Jamie Spencer takes the ride on this horse who won the Carlisle Bell last season and was tried in some better class races at Ascot and Haydock.

Angaric went well first time out last season and gets a good rating here - he is trading at around 8.2.

Cool Ebony, Toy Top and H Harrison all get good ratings and we will support all three on an each-way basis.

Saturday 7 April

A small profit on Thursday of 1.9 points with Italian Romance winning.

Welcome back after the Good Friday break and we turn our attention on Saturday to the ultra-competitive 3.00 at Haydock - a 19 runner handicap hurdle.

Five horses are 'above the line' that will feature in today's staking plan. The top-rated is Sun King who is currently trading at 32 on Betdaq. At the age of 10, he is the oldest runner in the race but retains plenty of zest and Keith Reveley's stable are in good form.

Mohayer is trading at around the 10 level - he has been running well on softer ground this season and is a bit of an unknown quantity on the firmer surface but is still capable of further improvement.

Ellerslie Tom, Motive, and John Forbes are currently trading at around 7, 44 and 36 respectively. John Forbes was forecast a 9/1 chance by the Racing Post and looks massively overpriced at current odds.

We head to Wolverhampton today for the featured HorseGraph - the 2.40 race - number 8 Feelin Irie is a non runner.

The HorseGraph top-rated is Musicmaestroplease who is currently trading at 4.6 on Betdaq. He has run a couple of sound races in defeat including over course and distance when second to Panic Stations in November. He makes a quick reappearance today after a good effort earlier in the week when second to Dudley Docker. If anything, this looks an easier contest and he has a great chance.

Italian Romance (favourite at 4.2) and Golden Spectrum (outsider of the field at 11) both also get above the line and are included in today's staking plan.

Wednesday 4 April

We head to Catterick today for the featured HorseGraph - the 5.20 race - a 5f handicap.

The HorseGraph top-rated is Back In The Red which would be a most appropriate winner given the recent spell of results. He showed good promise as a two-year-old and was a winner at Redcar (over the minimum trip) of an 18 runner handicap on today's good to firm ground. He has been given a break since failing to sparkle on the all-weather at Kempton but today's conditions may be much more favourable. He is currently trading at 8.2 on Betdaq.

The favourite is recent Southwell winner Mandurah who also gets a good rating and Dandy Nicholls' horses are continuing to run well. He could easily defy his penalty being a progressive sort.

We are also including outsider Mangano who has shown a hint of ability on his most recent starts and can go well off bottom weight.

We head to Southwell today for the featured HorseGraph - the 4.30 race - the 1m 6f handicap.

The HorseGraph gives a clear pointer to three runners in the field. The top-rated is Eforetta who reappeared to run well here recently when third to Shape Up over 1m 3f. This is much more her trip and she has an obvious chance here. It's no surprise to see her trading as favourite at 3.6 on Betdaq and she has a very solid chance.

The other two runners with great chances are Plenty Cried Wolf and Red River Rock who are currently trading at odds of 4.4 and 7.7 respectively.

We head to Southwell today for the featured HorseGraph - the 3.30 race - a trappy five furlong handicap.

It's close at the top but the top weight Triskaidekaphobia narrowly gets the verdict and is currently trading at around 6.5 on Betdaq.

The pacey four-year-old has run right back into form and won well at Wolverhampton last time out.

Plenty of other horses up there on the graph which we will include in today's staking plan.

Sunday 1 April

Young Owen (number one) is trading as 3.7 favourite on Betdaq for today's featured HorseGraph - the 3.20 at Newton Abbot and those odds look fair in representing his solid chance. Certainly there was a lot to like about his 19 length success at Plumpton last time out on good ground where he appreciated the drop back in distance. The handicapper has hiked him up 12lb for that success.

Next best is Think Of The Money (number 10) currently available at around 26. She has been given a real chance by the handicapper here and hasn't run too badly on her last couple of runs.

Travello (number 5) and Our Time (number 12) are opposite ends of the betting but both just get into today's staking plan.
