I had to do a double take when seeing the output from Friday's HorseGraph - Dark Planet - the complete outsider of the whole field on Betdaq gets the top-rating. You have to ignore his last two races on the basis that the two mile trip was too far at Wolverhampton last time and before that he unseated his rider at the very first flight in a race at Ludlow. However, before that he showed he has ability with some encouraging runs on the all-weather and was a winner at Beverley. The handicapper has given him a real chance in this contest.
The favourite Hallings Overture is rated close behind and is in good current form - this looks more his distance than the 10 furlongs he raced over last time.
King After seldom runs a bad race here at Lingfield and completes today's bet. He should go off at good odds.
