OUCH OUCH OUCH !! That was painful yesterday - the top-rated horse Mine The Balance beaten a short head at Lingfield going off at 9-1 with plenty of 12's available on Betdaq just before the off - we also had the 7-1 third Nikki Bea - but sadly not the winner. They say what goes around comes around - we had two short head verdicts go our way last week but were on the wrong side of the camera this time.
Today's HorseGraph is at Southwell and we'll no our fate early as it comes in the first race at 1.30. The latest betting on Betdaq is incredibly open but we are safely narrowing down to four horses to punt on here.
The top-rated is Cragganmore Creek for Hayley Turner. He has been reasonably popular in morning exchanges now trading at 6.7 from a high of 8. He runs this course well, winning in November in banded company and finishing a reasonable third last time to Global Strategy.
Magic Amigo is a big price at 9.1 - John Jenkins, his trainer has struck a bit of form and the Amigo ran well when second to Street Life at Kempton last month clocking a good figure.
The third choice is Mahmjra who defied a 20-1 SP to run a cracker when third to the in-form Jazrawy here last week.
I'm also adding in longshot History Prize whose graph defies the current Betdaq price of 34 - he is making his handicap debut.
