Not a good day yesterday - the writing was on the wall just before the race when Leonard Charles (one of our bets) bolted and completed a good circuit. I'm definitely in the camp of wanting horses withdrawn in that scenario and would always 'deal' if offered the chance of money back. We recovered a point on the Highland Harvest lay.
Hopefully a better day on Saturday and I'm staying clear of Haydock but keeping a watching brief. In the Peter Marsh I feel The Outlier could run very well and is a good price for a horse with proven ability over course, distance and most importantly ground and comes from a stable that can do little wrong.
We're off to Kempton for the featured HorseGraph in the interesting 4.20 race - interesting in as much as the Betdaq prices and the HorseGraph don't correspond at all - so there are a couple of obvious bets. The back has to be the stepped back in distance Our Blessing who is trading at an attractive 6.2 on Betdaq at the time of writing, we'll also add a lay of Daddy Cool who bids to follow-up his recent course and distance success but may have more on his plate despite the small field here.
Recommended Bets
1 1/2 point win Our Blessing
LAY Daddy Cool to win 1 1/2 points
